Job Description
Are you ready to define the technology landscape of 2026?
Nexus Horizon Labs is on a mission to engineer the next generation of autonomous systems. We are seeking a visionary Principal AI Architect to lead our cutting-edge research and deployment of General Artificial Intelligence (AGI) frameworks. If you thrive in ambiguous environments and are obsessed with pushing the boundaries of what is possible in machine learning, this is your opportunity to build the infrastructure of tomorrow.
In this role, you won't just write code; you will architect the future. You will define the architectural patterns for our next-generation neural networks and ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and ready for the quantum-ready era.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance AI architectures for next-gen autonomous agents and generative models.
- Lead the technical strategy for integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) with real-time decision-making systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and product managers to translate research into production-ready solutions.
- Establish best practices for MLOps, ensuring robust deployment pipelines and model monitoring.
- Conduct in-depth research into emerging AI paradigms, including reinforcement learning and federated learning.
- Mentor senior engineering staff and cultivate a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
- 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior AI/ML architect role.
- Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and modern deep learning frameworks.
- Proven track record of deploying large-scale machine learning systems that handle high concurrency and massive data sets.
- Strong understanding of system design principles, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
