Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology forecasting and scenario planning for 2026-2030 horizon
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with disruptive potential across industries
- Develop comprehensive adoption roadmaps for quantum computing, AI, and biotech integration
- Build cross-functional innovation pipelines and secure executive buy-in for high-impact initiatives
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and technology pioneers
- Present technology vision and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to maintain innovation leadership
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, or neurotech
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to translate technical concepts into business value
- Experience building innovation ecosystems and managing R&D budgets >$50M
- Published thought leadership in technology futures or peer-reviewed research
