Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and implement high-performance distributed systems capable of processing petabytes of multi-modal data.
- Model Optimization: Lead efforts in model compression, quantization, and inference acceleration to reduce latency and energy consumption.
- R&D Leadership: Define the technical roadmap for Project 2026, evaluating emerging frameworks and libraries.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and product managers to translate research into production-ready applications.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Establish engineering best practices and mentor junior engineers on advanced machine learning architectures.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field with a focus on AI/ML.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering and machine learning, with at least 3 years in a senior architect or lead role.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, C++, and deep familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning.
- Infrastructure: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
