Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, answering questions and providing product recommendations.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and stocked to ensure a welcoming shopping environment.
- Meet or exceed daily and weekly sales targets to contribute to the store's overall success.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking shelves and performing regular stock counts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail or sales experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail software is preferred.
