As a Weekend Sales Associate, you will be the face of our brand. You will play a crucial role in driving sales, maintaining store standards, and ensuring every customer leaves satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Greet and Assist: Welcome every customer with a smile, offer assistance, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Sales Generation: Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend products that best fit their requirements.
- Transaction Management: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment by stocking shelves and organizing displays according to company standards.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, assist in inventory counts, and report shortages or damages promptly.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to achieve weekly and monthly sales targets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and some weekday evenings.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers and staff.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and comfort with point-of-sale systems.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and move merchandise around the store.
- Professionalism: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
