Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers with inquiries regarding products, services, and pricing in a professional and friendly manner.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, organize product displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, safe, and well-stocked during the shift.
- Cash Handling: Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems, handle cash, credit, and gift cards with strict adherence to security protocols.
- Problem Resolution: Address customer complaints or issues promptly and escalate complex situations to the shift manager when necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the day shift team to ensure a seamless handover of operations and daily goals.
- Merchandising: Assist in setting up promotional displays and ensuring visual standards are met to drive sales.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in a work environment.
- Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and basic computer literacy (POS systems).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and navigate the sales floor.
