Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition: Identify and secure new business opportunities within the Baltimore and surrounding Pennsylvania territories through direct outreach and networking.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor rather than just a salesperson.
- Market Expansion: Represent the Apex brand at local events, trade shows, and community gatherings to increase brand visibility.
- Deal Closing: Negotiate contracts, handle objections, and finalize sales to meet and exceed monthly quotas.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions, prospects, and sales activities in our CRM system.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and leadership teams to refine sales strategies and share market insights.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer service is preferred; however, we are willing to train motivated self-starters.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional, persuasive tone.
- Driver's License: A valid, clean driver's license is required to travel within the local territory.
- Dedication: A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Goal-Oriented: Proven track record of setting and achieving ambitious targets.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Baltimore, MD and Pennsylvania area is a plus.
