Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for quantum computing solutions leading up to and beyond 2026.
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum circuits and optimize algorithms for superconducting and photonic hardware.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, data scientists, and AI researchers.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the R&D department.
- Evaluate emerging quantum technologies and integrate them into our core product ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing, quantum mechanics, or advanced systems architecture.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#).
- Strong understanding of error correction, noise mitigation, and quantum cryptography.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage complex, long-term projects.
