Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop and publish strategic foresight frameworks for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to prototype future business models
- Advise leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in AI, biotech, and sustainability
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry experts
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable product roadmaps
- Represent the company at premier global forums on future trends
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 10+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and long-term forecasting
- Published author or thought leader in future-focused publications
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Portfolio of successful strategic roadmaps implemented in Fortune 500 companies
