Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological and societal trends
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AGI)
- Champion agile R&D methodologies for prototype development and market validation
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry disruptors
- Drive ethics and sustainability frameworks for future-facing technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, biotechnology, or quantum computing ecosystems
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (e.g., HBR, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Portfolio of 3+ innovation initiatives with measurable impact
