Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks across AI, biotech, and climate sectors
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive teams to anticipate disruptive market shifts
- Produce trend reports and white papers published in industry-leading journals
- Manage a global network of futurist researchers and technology scouts
- Design innovation pipelines for emerging technologies with $50M+ R&D budgets
- Present future outlooks to investors, partners, and board members
- Mentor junior futurists and establish departmental best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent field
- 8+ years in strategic planning or innovation leadership roles
- Published author in futurism or technology forecasting (peer-reviewed)
- Expertise in systems thinking and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Research preferred
