Job Description
Are you ready to build the digital layer of the physical world? Nexus Core is seeking a visionary Lead Architect: Spatial Web (2026 Vision) to lead our R&D efforts in spatial computing and immersive environments. We are defining the standards for the next decade of computing, merging advanced AI, 3D graphics, and human-computer interaction.
In this pivotal role, you will design the architectural frameworks that power our spatial operating systems. You won't just write code; you will shape how millions of users perceive and interact with information in 3D space by the year 2026.
Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Roadmap: Lead the architectural strategy for the Spatial Web, defining technical standards for AR/VR integration, haptics, and spatial mapping.
- System Design: Design scalable, high-performance backend and frontend systems capable of processing real-time spatial data and AI inference.
- Collaborative Engineering: Partner with UX/UI researchers and AI specialists to translate user needs into robust technical specifications.
- Performance Engineering: Optimize rendering pipelines and memory management to ensure seamless performance across next-gen hardware.
- Tech Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of software engineering, with at least 3 years in Spatial Computing, AR/VR, or Game Engine development.
- Expertise: Deep proficiency in Unity or Unreal Engine and a strong command of C# or C++.
- Graphics Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of OpenGL, Vulkan, or DirectX, including shader programming.
- AI Integration: Experience integrating machine learning models (e.g., Computer Vision, SLAM) into real-time 3D applications.
- Education: Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Computational Physics, or a related field.
