Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap: Design and maintain the technical roadmap for the 2026 release cycle, aligning engineering goals with business objectives.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, fault-tolerant microservices and cloud infrastructure using AWS and Kubernetes.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a high-performing engineering team, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Legacy Modernization: Lead the migration of legacy systems to modern architectures, ensuring zero downtime and data integrity.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and select third-party technologies and vendors that align with our long-term 2026 vision.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a senior architecture or lead role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java, with experience in functional programming paradigms.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
