Job Description
We are Nexus Horizon Labs, a pioneer in next-generation intelligence systems. As we prepare to launch our flagship projects in 2026, we are seeking a visionary Lead AI & Robotics Systems Architect to define the technical backbone of our future. This is not just a job; it is an opportunity to steer the trajectory of how machines interact with the physical world.
In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical AI research and robust, scalable engineering. You will lead a world-class team in designing neural architectures that are not only intelligent but also safe, ethical, and efficient. If you are passionate about the cutting edge of technology and want to leave a legacy in the 2026 landscape, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Vision: Design and implement the core system architecture for our autonomous robotics fleet, ensuring scalability and resilience for 2026 deployment.
- AI Strategy: Define the roadmap for integrating large language models (LLMs) with edge computing hardware to create seamless human-machine interfaces.
- Team Leadership: Mentor senior engineers and foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and rapid prototyping.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, ethicists, and hardware engineers to align technical capabilities with business goals.
- Performance Optimization: Oversee the optimization of neural networks to reduce latency and power consumption in real-world environments.
- Future-Proofing: Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI safety and quantum computing to ensure our systems remain relevant and secure.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in AI system architecture, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, C++, and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- Domain Knowledge: Proven track record in designing systems for robotics, autonomous vehicles, or complex industrial automation.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve unsolved problems in real-time system constraints and safety-critical environments.
