Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable machine learning models for autonomous spacecraft navigation and trajectory optimization.
- Lead the research and development of predictive maintenance systems to extend the lifespan of critical hardware components in low-earth orbit.
- Collaborate with aerospace engineers and data scientists to integrate AI models into flight software stacks.
- Optimize neural networks for real-time processing in resource-constrained environments.

Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning, deep learning, or AI engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes, Apache Spark).
- Aerospace Knowledge: Understanding of orbital mechanics, flight dynamics, or space systems engineering is a significant plus.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, high-stakes problems under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations.
