Job Description
Are you ready to architect the systems that will define the future of technology in 2026? Nexus Horizon Systems is seeking a visionary Lead AI Architect to spearhead our The 2026 Initiative. We are building the next generation of autonomous, predictive, and multimodal AI ecosystems. If you thrive on solving complex, unsolved problems and pushing the boundaries of what is possible with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI, we want to hear from you.
As a key member of our elite engineering team, you will not just build software; you will define the operational standard for intelligent systems. We are looking for a thought leader who combines deep technical expertise with a strategic vision for the future.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of cutting-edge AI agents capable of autonomous decision-making for the 2026 landscape.
- Optimize large-scale inference pipelines to reduce latency and increase throughput for real-time applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ethical AI frameworks and safety protocols into production models.
- Pioneering research into next-generation transformer architectures and memory-augmented neural networks.
- Mentor junior engineers and define best practices for scalable machine learning infrastructure.
- Oversee the deployment of multi-modal AI systems integrating vision, language, and audio processing.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering, specifically with LLMs and NLP.
- Expert proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
- Deep understanding of vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus) and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
- Proven track record of deploying high-availability AI systems at scale.
- Strong background in distributed systems and cloud architecture (AWS/GCP).
