Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the architecture of scalable, high-performance AI and machine learning systems for the 2026 Horizon Initiative.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists and engineers, providing technical mentorship and strategic direction.
- Collaborate with product management to define AI roadmaps and translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement best practices for model deployment, MLOps, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Ensure the ethical use of AI, focusing on bias mitigation, transparency, and fairness in algorithmic decision-making.
- Stay at the forefront of AI research, evaluating emerging technologies (e.g., LLMs, Neural Architecture Search) to maintain a competitive edge.
- Drive innovation in hardware-software integration for edge computing applications.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and machine learning, with at least 4 years in a leadership or architectural role.
- Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes, Spark).
- Proven track record of deploying production-grade AI models that handle high-scale data traffic.
- Strong understanding of deep learning architectures, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and AI-specific services.
