Job Description
Are you ready to build the infrastructure that will define the technological landscape of 2026? Nexus Horizon is at the bleeding edge of Agentic AI and Neuromorphic Computing. We are seeking a visionary Lead Architect to design scalable, secure, and efficient systems that bridge the gap between current capabilities and the future of human-machine collaboration.
In this role, you won't just be maintaining legacy systems; you will be engineering the core of our next-generation platform, optimizing Large Language Models (LLMs) for enterprise deployment, and establishing the ethical frameworks for autonomous agents.
Why join us?
- Work with the most advanced AI stacks in the industry.
- Shape the roadmap for 2026 and beyond.
- Competitive equity package and remote-first flexibility.
If you are a technical leader who thrives on complexity and innovation, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance distributed AI systems capable of processing petabytes of data in real-time.
- Lead the design of Agentic AI workflows, ensuring autonomous agents can execute complex, multi-step tasks with minimal human intervention.
- Optimize LLM inference pipelines to reduce latency and improve cost-efficiency for large-scale deployments.
- Establish security protocols and data governance standards to ensure compliance with emerging AI regulations (including EU AI Act and upcoming US federal standards).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsâincluding product, research, and engineeringâto translate strategic goals into technical roadmaps.
- Mentor senior engineers and define coding standards for AI-driven projects.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years specifically in AI/ML infrastructure.
- Deep expertise in Python, C++, and Rust, with proven experience deploying models on Kubernetes and cloud-native environments.
- Strong understanding of Transformer architectures, Vector Databases, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
- Experience implementing MLOps pipelines and model versioning strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field is preferred.
