Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to inform 2026+ strategic roadmaps
- Develop and execute innovation frameworks for next-generation product development
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes for disruptive opportunities
- Manage a portfolio of innovation projects with $5M+ annual budgets
- Champion design thinking methodologies for future-centric problem-solving
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching market-defining technology products
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience with agile methodologies for rapid prototyping and validation
- Strong communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
