Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategic recommendations
- Identify and assess disruptive startups for potential partnerships or acquisitions
- Present foresight findings to executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Anticipate societal and regulatory implications of future technologies
- Champion innovation culture through workshops and thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurism roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products
- Strong data analysis and scenario planning capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
