Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AGI) to forecast 2026+ market disruptions
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead strategic innovation workshops with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present future scenarios to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in for transformative initiatives
- Build partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers to accelerate innovation
- Monitor competitive landscapes and identify first-mover advantages in emerging domains
- Document strategic insights through whitepapers and executive briefings
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of predicting and capitalizing on tech disruptions
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, space tech, etc.)
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or thought leadership in futurism
