Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Analyze emerging tech disruptors (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineering, product, and executive teams
- Author forward-looking white papers and policy recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Mentor junior futurists and build an innovation pipeline
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Physics, or related field
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on emerging tech
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI ethics, or biotech convergence
- Track record of influencing enterprise-level tech strategy
- Strong public speaking and policy advocacy skills
