- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and executive narratives
- Establish innovation frameworks for ethical technology adoption and sustainable development
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate and integrate startup innovations into corporate strategy
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global tech summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in strategic planning within tech or R&D environments
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, AR/VR, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical ecosystems
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF)
- Portfolio of published futurist analyses or technology roadmaps
