Responsibilities
- Forecast technology adoption trends and market readiness for 2026-2030 horizon
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and biocompatible interfaces
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align R&D with future business imperatives
- Produce visionary whitepapers and scenario analyses for C-suite stakeholders
- Identify emerging risks and opportunities in decentralized systems and autonomous ecosystems
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate frontier technology investments
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurist forums and technology summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Experience with foresight tools like Horizon Scanning or Delphi techniques
- Strong network with academic research institutions and tech incubators
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
