Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year predictive modeling
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum, and biotech convergence points
- Design and prototype experimental systems for 2026-era human-computer interfaces
- Partner with policy experts to assess ethical implications of future tech deployments
- Present foresight frameworks to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and design teams
- Author white papers on technological singularity preparedness
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in R&D with demonstrated success in emerging tech adoption
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, advanced AI architectures, synthetic biology
- Published research on technological forecasting or innovation strategy
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and foresight methodologies
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into commercial prototypes
- Deep understanding of sociotechnical systems and human augmentation ethics
