Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for long-term business planning and innovation pipelines
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prioritize emerging technologies with highest market potential
- Present future outlooks to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers positioning company as industry futurist
- Design and execute foresight methodologies including Delphi studies and expert workshops
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles within tech/finance sectors
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts for executive audiences
- Experience with foresight methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating published future outlooks or strategic roadmaps
