Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Produce quarterly 'Future Briefs' for the Board of Directors, predicting disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Lead cross-functional '2026 Innovation Sprints' with engineering, design, and product teams
- Establish partnerships with Singularity University, World Economic Forum, and academic futurist programs
- Create the annual 'Future Impact Index' measuring organizational preparedness for 2026 challenges
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders Academy
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences (e.g., Davos Futures, TED Future)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in corporate strategy consulting or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight journals or major industry publications
- Expertise in AI ethics, quantum computing, and climate tech adaptation frameworks
- Proven track record of translating foresight into $100M+ revenue initiatives
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Fluency in Mandarin, Spanish, or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
