Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and academic research to identify 2026-relevant opportunities
- Develop scenario-based strategic models for market disruption and competitive positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align teams on emerging technology adoption roadmaps
- Produce executive foresight reports with actionable recommendations for board-level decisions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to accelerate R&D
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting future tech deployment
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futures research
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of developing successful 3-5 year strategic plans
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, biotech)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex concepts
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or disruption analysis
- Experience with scenario planning tools and horizon scanning methodologies
