Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, and quantum computing into enterprise ecosystems
- Facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and adaptive strategy frameworks
- Produce annual Future State Reports with quantitative forecasts and qualitative trend analysis
- Design innovation incubation programs for emerging business models and workforce evolution
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-focused solutions addressing climate resilience and ethical AI
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning frameworks
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption or societal transformation
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their socioeconomic implications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight.org)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major strategic foresight initiatives delivered to Fortune 500 clients
