Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies, market disruptions, and societal shifts through trend analysis and scenario planning
- Develop strategic frameworks for 2026+ market positioning and competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-ready innovation priorities
- Produce foresight reports and visualizations translating complex trends into actionable insights
- Design organizational resilience strategies for technological and regulatory uncertainties
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-focused solutions and business models
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, neurotech)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Strong presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in future trends or strategy publications
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM preferred)
