Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks for organizational decision-making
- Lead cross-functional scenario-planning workshops to prepare for multiple future possibilities
- Translate complex trend analysis into actionable business strategies and innovation roadmaps
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prioritize future-focused technology investments
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership content on future trends
- Establish metrics to track strategic foresight initiatives' impact on business outcomes
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented planning
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures
- Experience developing and implementing strategic foresight frameworks in corporate environments
- Strong proficiency in strategic planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making through future-oriented insights
