Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual Horizon Scans identifying disruptive technologies and societal shifts
- Design strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product innovation and market positioning
- Lead scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives and R&D teams
- Establish foresight frameworks to quantify future risk/opportunity landscapes
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on emerging research
- Present findings to investor boards and industry summits (Davos, Web Summit)
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- Published work in peer-reviewed foresight journals or major tech publications
- Expertise in AI ethics, quantum computing applications, or climate adaptation
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
- Clearance for DoD/NSF-level futurist projects (preferred)
