Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts affecting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain the organization's 5-year innovation roadmap with quantifiable milestones
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and emerging startups
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Oversee the innovation pipeline from concept validation to market implementation
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against strategic objectives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Minimum 8 years experience in corporate innovation, strategic foresight, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives with measurable impact
