Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging trends across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and space technology through horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients seeking 2026 market leadership
- Lead interdisciplinary 'future labs' prototyping next-generation products and services
- Present foresight insights to C-suite executives and board members through compelling narratives
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, researchers, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote at global innovation summits
- Guide R&D investment allocation based on 5-10 year trend analysis
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field with 8+ years of foresight experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic plans for global enterprises
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex futurist concepts
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous innovation challenges
- Published thought leadership in futurist or innovation publications (e.g., HBR, MIT Tech Review)
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies: Delphi, scenario planning, trend analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating successful translation of foresight into commercial outcomes
