Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, social shifts, and market disruptions impacting 2026+ landscape
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps and translate futuristic insights into actionable R&D initiatives and product roadmaps
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and business leaders to co-create future-ready solutions
- Build quantitative/qualitative models to simulate future scenarios and assess strategic implications
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks to access bleeding-edge innovations
- Present visionary narratives to stakeholders, inspiring alignment and driving investment in future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology foresight with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercialized products or business models
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI, biotech, neurotech, and climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or implemented innovation strategies
