Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, market disruptors, and societal shifts through 2026+
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks and roadmaps aligned with organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize future scenarios and strategic options
- Partner with R&D teams to validate emerging concepts and accelerate innovation pipelines
- Author forward-looking thought leadership and executive briefings on future trends
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and environmental megatrends impacting industry evolution
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future insights into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional facilitation skills with diverse stakeholders across global teams
- Published thought leadership on future trends or industry disruption
- Experience with scenario planning tools and foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation strategy implementation
