Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and emerging paradigms
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops using foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi techniques)
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts in emerging domains
- Quantify innovation ROI through predictive modeling and market simulation frameworks
- Present strategic futures to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation ecosystem
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Experience with futures forecasting tools and scenario planning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into executable strategies
- Track record of launching disruptive products or business models
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating future-shaping initiatives
