Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological and societal shifts
- Develop future scenario models and strategic roadmaps for core business units
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate emerging innovations
- Drive cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications and industry white papers
- Advise executive team on disruptive threats and transformational opportunities
- Build and manage an external network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial products
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published author in futurism or technology publications
- Experience managing cross-cultural, geographically distributed teams
- Portfolio of future-strategy projects with measurable impact
