Responsibilities
- Anticipate technological and market shifts through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product launches and service innovations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into actionable plans
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor competitive landscape and disruptor technologies
- Build and mentor a team of innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning or innovation roles at tech-forward companies
- Proven track record of forecasting market trends with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in at least two emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation launches
