Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster creative thinking and future-oriented ideation
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and external partners
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership content
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to articulate complex futures
- Experience with emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Strong data literacy with ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative insights
- Portfolio demonstrating futurist work or published thought leadership
