Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and societal shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligning emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with business objectives
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for alternative futures and build organizational resilience
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and engineering teams to integrate future insights into development pipelines
- Present visionary insights to executive leadership and board members through compelling narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks to capture cutting-edge knowledge
- Author thought leadership publications on future-facing business strategies and technology convergence
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR, and sustainable systems
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial opportunities and strategic plans
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to connect disparate trends into coherent narratives
