Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and cultural trends to forecast industry disruptions by 2026
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks and future-state roadmaps for enterprise transformation
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive stakeholders to prepare for alternative futures
- Identify and evaluate breakthrough opportunities across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities and pilot programs
- Author thought leadership content and present future outlooks to industry forums and investors
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing future-oriented strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI ethics, quantum applications, or climate tech
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience translating complex trends into executive insights
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, Economics, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (white papers, books, keynotes)
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend impact assessment frameworks
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., from foresight academy or equivalent)
