Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market disruptions, and societal trends relevant to 2026
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and board members
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation roadmaps with long-term future scenarios
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for C-suite and key stakeholders
- Author high-impact trend reports and whitepapers on future business landscapes
- Partner with marketing to communicate future vision and build thought leadership
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business Analytics, or related field
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist roles
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systemic thinking frameworks
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Strong presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP, CSSP) preferred
