Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) and develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ market readiness
- Lead high-stakes innovation workshops with C-suite executives across Fortune 500 companies
- Design and implement 'Future Scenario Planning' frameworks using proprietary AI-powered foresight tools
- Author thought leadership reports published in MIT Tech Review, WIRED, and industry whitepapers
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio, evaluating and scaling breakthrough technologies
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at Davos, CES, and UN Innovation Summits as a keynote speaker
- Mentor a team of 5 futurist analysts and PhD researchers
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology commercialization
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with PhD preferred
- Published author of 3+ peer-reviewed papers on technological disruption or exponential trends
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Cross-Impact Analysis)
- Track record of developing patent-pending technologies or commercializing breakthrough innovations
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on digital transformation and resilience strategies
- Fluency in at least two of the following: Python, R, TensorFlow, or quantum computing protocols
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for classified innovation projects
