Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive trends across technology, economy, and society through 2030
- Develop quantitative/qualitative scenario models for 2026 market landscapes and consumer behavior shifts
- Translate foresight insights into actionable strategic frameworks for C-suite executives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry conferences
- Build and maintain proprietary trend-tracking databases using AI-powered analytics
- Advose on emerging technology adoption curves (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI)
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (MS/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis at tech-forward firms
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or societal transformation topics
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., MFSc, CFS) preferred
