Our Austin-based headquarters offers a collaborative environment where your insights will directly influence product roadmaps, market positioning, and organizational evolution. You'll work alongside C-suite executives to shape our 5-year innovation pipeline while mentoring a cross-functional team of researchers and technologists.
Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies with business objectives
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and trend briefings for internal and external audiences
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions using emerging tech stacks
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation pipeline maturity and future-readiness
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of implementing future-oriented strategies in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario development methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Certification in futures studies or strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or innovation frameworks
