Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with global market trends and company vision
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging tech (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies for acquisition/partnership opportunities
- Present strategic forecasts to C-suite and board members using data-driven insights
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team
- Secure $10M+ in annual R&D funding through compelling business cases
- Represent Nexus at global tech summits and industry thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with proven success in emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience leading R&D initiatives with $5M+ budgets
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling skills
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications
- Track record of launching products with $100M+ market impact
- Certified in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight methodologies
