Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation labs exploring next-gen tech (quantum, bio-integrated systems, AI autonomy)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-7 year adoption cycles
- Present technology forecasts and risk assessments to executive board and investors
- Architect ethical frameworks for emerging technologies ensuring responsible deployment
- Manage $15M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with demonstrated impact in emerging tech domains
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (IEEE, ACM, or similar)
- Experience scaling global tech initiatives across 3+ continents
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech verticals: AI/ML, quantum computing, or decentralized systems
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or similar foresight methodology training
- Track record of securing $50M+ in technology innovation funding
