Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging technologies (quantum AI, neurointerfaces, climate tech)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government bodies, and venture capital firms
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and board of directors
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Manage $50M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused technology portfolio management
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies with market impact
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI development, or climate engineering
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar high-impact journals
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology forecasting models
- Experience securing federal SBIR grants or international innovation funding
