Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology forecasting and roadmap development for 2026-2030 initiatives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neuromorphic systems) for commercial viability
- Design cross-functional innovation frameworks bridging R&D, product, and market teams
- Present technology strategies to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Drive industry thought leadership through whitepapers and conference speaking
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate innovation culture across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or corporate innovation with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record in scaling disruptive technologies from concept to market
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong executive communication with C-suite/board experience
- Published industry thought leadership (minimum 3 peer-reviewed articles)
- Agile/Scrum certification preferred
